The Road

I love long car rides. It’s not that I’ve just come to this realization - I’ve known it for a long time - but I mean they’re really great. I’ve never been the driver in the case of highway driving, but being the passenger is probably even better. I love looking out the window at the changing scenery, listening to my music…just the promise of travelling. I love it.

I think that I don’t want a set career. I don’t want to be a lawyer or a doctor or someone who works in finances or any of that. I want to do a bunch of things. I would love to drive trucks in the Yukon for a year or so. It’s dangerous - all those icy roads, huge trucks, et cetera - but for one, I love being on the road, and two, these truck drivers make really good money. Not that I’m in it for the money. But I think it’s something that I’d love to do for a bit. I don’t know. I really have no idea what I’m going to do with my life, but I think that moving from job to job would be really interesting. Besides, it would suit my personality. I can never make up my mind and I get bored of things quickly.

I’m also watching Little Miss Sunshine right now. It’s really good…I remember when I first heard about it, I thought it would be stupid. But yes, it’s definitely a great movie, and if you haven’t seen it yet, I’d reccommend it.
